Current Classes
-
Beginners Tai Chi: Wednesday nights for 6 weeks.
-
We will learn the first 6 movements of the most well known Tai Chi style, the Yang 24 Form. This is a beautiful,
gentle and relaxing Tai Chi form that is suitable for all ages. Men and women are welcome in class. In the past married couples
and mothers and daughters have enjoyed taking the class together. At the end of this class you will know the first part of
the 24 Form. Classes start Wednesday, Oct 24, 2007 at 6 PM.
- Tai Chi for Arthritis (TCA) will also start July 25, 2007. You will learn a short version of Sun style Tai Chi designed
by Dr. Paul Lam, a family practice doctor in Sydney Australia. This form is designed for arthritis but benefits back
pain as well. Tai Chi for Arthritis is endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation in the USA and Australia. You do not need
to have a medical problem to participate in this class. Tai Chi for Arthritis is a pre requisite for the Depth of
Tai Chi Class that will be given personally by Dr. Lam the weekend of October 12-13th in Pacific Grove, California.
- Learning the TCA form will introduce you to Sun Style Tai Chi and you may wish to go on to learn the entire 73 Form. The
Sun 73 form is taught by Dr. Stephanie Taylor on an individual basis.
Would you like to teach? Certifying weekend workshops in Tai Chi for Diabetes or Arthritis are offered periodically.
Qualified candidates will be able to teach introductory level classes in their own communities for individuals with arthritis
or diabetes. Certifications are updated every 2 years and one day update workshops are available. For more detailed information
see www.taichiproductions.com in our Links section.
Looking for more? We also participate in a week long Tai Chi Workshop. This occurs in June and is sponsored
and organized by the Tai Chi for Health Community in collaboration with Dr. Paul Lam.

Chi form, enjoy stimulating lectures and to have a guided tour of the property. We always enjoy a pleasant tea break
in the mid morning and midafternoon. The property is dazzlingly beautiful and can be enjoyed rain or shine. This will be a
BYOB lunch, but water and snacks will be provided. Please feel free to bring any artistic or journaling materials that you
think will enhance your learning experience. Also feel free to bring a favorite tea cup. We
are accepting registrations now. Please call 622-1994 and leave your contact infomation on the message machine.
